Narcotics

The mission of the Austin County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Narcotics Division is to disrupt, dismantle and investigate the manufacturing, transportation, selling and use of illegal drugs in Austin County. The Narcotics Division works closely with several local, county, state, and federal agencies involved in the enforcement of drug laws.

The ACSO Narcotics Division is a proactive unit that works behind the scenes to investigate leads that are generated by citizen contacts, crimestopper reports and deputy initiated activities.   

The ACSO Narcotics Division also participates as a member of the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Drug Task Force and DEA Diversion Program.    

The ACSO Narcotics Division is comprised of three Investigators and one Sergeant.
